Dabbers are the tools used to “dab” or apply concentrates onto a heated nail. Typically made of metal, silicone, or glass, dabbers come with a variety of tip styles designed to handle different consistencies of concentrates, such as pointed ends, scoopers and scrapers. Some dabbers even come in kits with interchangeable ends that can be customized to your requirements.
Dabbers are available in a few different materials, and there are pros and cons to each. Metal dabbers are durable and will last a long time, typically made of titanium or surgical stainless steel. Glass dabbers, although they are far more fragile, are often very intricate and come in a lot of interesting designs.
Dabbers vary in price depending on the materials they’re made from — simple dabbers can cost just a few dollars and high end tools can be more than $60.
